Find us on…
Last month, Tara from Baby Lifestyles reached out to us to see if we wanted to contribute on their upcoming magazine issue. We didn’t hesitate for a second and went to work. That’s how our “Endless Summer” shoot was born!
Their August/September issue is finally out. It’s shock full of great inspiration and eye candy. Check it out HERE.

Thanks so much for this opportunity Tara!
{Real Parties} Vintage Stroller Baby Shower
I’m so excited to share this vintage stroller baby shower with you today! Annette from One Perfect Room planned a baby shower for her brother and sister-in-law using our vintage stroller party collection.
We worked with Annette to customize the collection according to her color scheme for the party and specific words that she wanted to incorporate on the drink tags and signs. Overall, I think the party was beautifully styled. It really looks like Annette’s family had a great time celebrating their upcoming newest addition to the family!

An Effortless Summer Picnic
With summer in full swing, it seems like there are almost too many activities to choose from to keep your family happy and entertained. Having a picnic, or picnic themed party, is one great way to take in the summer sun and keep bellies full.
Decorate with an adorable picnic basket {Please Sir Blog}, a red gingham butterfly garland {Sugar Owl Design}, and colorful fabric bunting {Paisley Handmade}! And you can forget about plastic silverware! Use fun wooden cutlery {Sweet Style} instead for an outdoorsy touch.
Happy picnicking!

Foods for the Fourth
The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. The fact that we get to celebrate our great nation and its forefathers with a day-long celebration complete with our family and closest friends makes me smile. Aside from the true meaning of this great holiday, the 4th of July is a day filled with food, fun and FIREWORKS! Personally, my favorite of the three is food!
What I love so much about the different foods for the fourth is that they are all classic American treats. Plus, I love the fact that it gives us all a reason to deck out our favorite foods in red, white and blue! This 4th of July inspiration board is filled with goodies you can try recreating for your Independence Day festivities. From the “surprise inside” American Flag cake {17 And Baking} to the yummy looking cheesecake in a jar {My Baking Addiction} to the classic pigs in a blanket {My Recipes}, there is definitely something here that every member of your 4th of July bash will love.
I hope you have a ball serving up all of this patriotic goodness at your celebration! Enjoy the holiday!

Navy Blue and Yellow Summer Wedding
Choosing the main colors you will use to decorate every single aspect of your wedding is crucial. Luckily, there are tons of inspiration boards to help you in your decision making. Here’s one I made especially for those planning a summer wedding.
I think beautiful, crisp colors, like navy blue and yellow, are essential for a summer wedding. The bright yellow details on the cake (One Wed), wedding invitation (One Sweet Party) and bridesmaid’s bouquet (Sitting in a Tree) really make a statement and scream “sunshine.” Then there’s the navy blue accents on the bride and groom. These small additions really make a lovely contrast to the brightness of the yellow. I’d absolutely LOVE to be a guest at this wedding!
What color combination are you thinking of using for your wedding?

Bring the Beach to your Pool
Summertime brings to mind many things –vacations, relaxation, hot weather; but the main thing on everyone’s mind is fun in the sun. This time of the year calls for weekly trips to the beach to enjoy the warmth of the sun, work on a tan and build sandcastles. Unfortunately, not everyone is surrounded by the ocean like us Floridians. Times like these call for a beach themed pool party!
Bringing the beach to your pool is simple. Transform your backyard with these water candle center pieces, beach critter shaped plates and ocean inspired cupcakes by Martha Stewart. Family Fun shows you how to create this spectacular sandcastle cake, which is sure to make your guests gasp in awe! Don’t forget: no party is complete without entertainment. Purchase fun games, like this inflatable dolphin ring toss from Amazon, so even the guests that don’t enjoy swimming can have some fun.
Great pool party favors include giving your guests sunscreen with a personalized label or making a summertime CD filled with music played at the party.
Most important of all, have fun! You worked hard to plan this fabulous party, so enjoy it.

It’s Time to Celebrate Dad!
This year, Father’s Day is on June 19th. Here is some inspiration that will help you throw Dad (Grandpa, brother, or uncle) a fun outdoor celebration that we’re sure he’ll enjoy.
It’s summer, so what better way to celebrate Dad than by celebrating in the sun?! A pool party would allow Dad to let loose and have a blast in an easy going and informal setting. The beer pops by Bakers Royale are a great (and tasty) way to cool off in the heat. The pulled pork cupcakes by The Bleeding Heart Bakery, little slider cupcakes (They look so realistic!) by Smiley’s Sweets and Creations, and the eight layer dip by Martha Stewart are delicious munchies that are sure to keep Dad full and content.
But, if Mother Nature isn’t too kind to us on Father’s Day, this party can easily be transferred indoors and celebrated with just as much enthusiasm!

“Ready To Hatch” Baby Shower
Baby showers are one of the happiest occasions in a woman’s life. What better way to celebrate the beginning of a new life with a “Ready to Hatch” baby shower? The light blues and pastels would work beautifully for the celebration of a new baby boy. However, by simply changing the colors used, you could easily celebrate the coming of a new baby girl. I absolutely love the cute bird cupcakes, chocolate bird’s nests and blue paper birds. The slate gray and blue shower invitations, banner and various party decorations are from our very own Etsy shop. Combining these lovely decorations can create an amazing celebration of new life!

Classic Red, White and Blue Centerpiece
Etsy seller FlowerThyme creates beautiful and colorful paper flower bouquets at an incredibly affordable price. The light blue and pretty red color of this particular bouquet drew me into her shop.
Isn’t this bouquet so pretty? Each flower is handmade using cardstock and then attached to cloth covered floral wire. The color of these flowers will go great with any patriotic party. And with Memorial Day coming up, I think this bouquet would make a beautiful centerpiece.
Find this light blue and pretty red bouquet HERE.
